HODA ACKAD
Marie-Ange Hoda Ackad est une artiste multidisciplinaire Canadienne dont le travaiile explore les intersections entre représentation, culture visuelle et mémoire collective. A travers une pratique singulilère combinant peinture et modèle vivant, collage d’archives et techniques mixtes, Ackad explore l’influence de l’imagerie quotidienne sur les récits sociaux et culturels. Au cours des 30 dernières années , son travail a été présenté dans des expositions de musées, des centres d’art et des programmes organisés, notamment lors de présentations récentes a New York.
La pratique d’Ackad reflète un engagement soutenu envers l’évolution du language de la figuration contemporaine, et elle continue d’accroître sa visibilité internationale grâce a des expositions, des prix et des reconnaissances critiques.
Marie-Ange Hoda Ackad is a Canadian multidisciplinary artist whose work examines the intersections of representation, visual culture, and collective memory. Through a distinctive practice combining live model painting, archival collage, and mixed media, Ackad investigates the influence of everyday imagery on social and cultural narratives.
Over the past 30 years, her work has been featured in museum exhibitions, art centers and curated programs, including recent presentations in New York City. Ackad’s practice reflects a sustained engagement with the evolving language of contemporary figuration, and she continues to expand her international profile through exhibitions, awards, and critical recognition.
